Twice a month you’ll find my cakes at the cake pop-up store in Maria Vinagre, south/west Portugal. I am inspired by the Portugues sun, her sea and the flavors of this beautiful land, combined with my dutch roots. Think ripe figs, carob, oranges, anis, almonds, applepie, nutmeg, plums, gingerbread…
Baking is in my blood, my grandparents had several bakeries in Holland. I have learned a lot from my family.
Besides this I worked in different restaurants and bakeries like the Veldkeuken, I studied at the Bakery institute and finished the V.I.P. health and nutrition chefs training. And I runned a catering company for 10 years in Utrecht.
All the cakes are made with so much joy, from heart to hands, turning love into cakes.
